Brimfield Butterflies & Friends/Set of 2

A perfect pairing. The stunning insect engravings on original paper are from the 18th c., and found at Brimfield. I have had them for a while now, waiting to find a pair of frames (hard to find pairs!). So when I found this pair of antique wooden frames dressed with burl veneer and black and gilded edging, I knew they would make a perfect pairing. To complete the look, I felt that it needed a fresh element, so when I spotted the creamy white burlap linen mat at the framers – it was just right! This pair is truly so special.
