A sailor’s artform. This handsome artisan made basket bowl is made of hand braided corn husks that are natural and hand dyed Indigo. The braids were then coiled to create a concave bowl. Hand stitching is visible to see how it’s all held together. A thick black wire structure on the back holds it in place and can be hung. Just such a lovely piece.
