Rare pheasants. My collection of 10 Booths ‘Antique Pheasant’ antique English dinner plates are truly a rare find. I fell hard for these plates the moment I saw them. All the best in Country House style…creamy white (some with soft crazing) plates with finely rendered black motifs of graciously swagged leafy garlands festooned in a generous scalloped design. The center of each plate features 2 pheasants:1 perched on a garden branch while the other flies. Elegant hand gilded rim detail finishes the plates. I proudly set my Thanksgiving table with this collection and featured it in an Autumn issue of my emagazine, Nora Murphy Country House Style. (I scoured the internet, and could not find these anywhere!) Rare.
