Rustic, yet refined. This brass dish – complete with a sweet bird perched at the edge – has the prettiest shell shape, and happens to fit a round fabulously scented soap so perfectly. I love the wonderful patina of this brass piece – rougher on the inside and smoother, with fabulous soft polish on the scalloped edge. The Lavender scented soap is from one of my favorite soap makers, La Florentina, Casa Fondata, est.1894, Italy. A beautiful pairing.
