Comfort & charm. I love tole. I especially love old tole trays that are beautifully hand painted or stenciled. They can’t be hokey…they need to be the real 19th c./early 20th c. deal. I immediately was attracted to the delicate technique of the hand painted flowers in a soft golden russet color palette. Rich in original colors that are now more faded. A colorful parrot makes his way into the center motif. Love this pop of color!
For our photo shoot, I styled my Living Room mantle with lush greens and then leaned and overlapped tole trays…oh my, I absolutely loved this unique holiday styling!
