Azalea & Bladderwort

A striking pair. When I spotted this pair of framed botanicals, I don’t know if it was the botanical subject matter that always captures my heart, or the unique matting and framing that captured my attention! These 2 framed prints from Trowbridge, have a fabulous presence. One is the Azalea Mollis Glabrior, and its mate is the Utricularia Montana. A thick paper mat with ¼” hand gilded edge, and a 1 ½” cove wood frame that is hand painted and hand gilded with just the right amount of distressing! This pair needs a true place of honor!
