Autumn Seed Pod Embroidered Pillow

A fabulous Brimfield find! This pillowcase caught my eye right away. The nature lover in me loved the handcrafted, hand embroidered floral motif created with autumnal colored yarns and needlework set on a neutral linen ground fabric. The dealer told me that the pillow was made in Germany in the 1960’s. I added a feather down pillow insert, and a dear friend’s mom sewed new snaps onto the pillows opening.
Many hands went into making this pillow just right.
