This wonderfully timeworn pair of antique wooden maple sap buckets retain their layers of old red exterior paint and contrasting cream-painted interiors – and are a rare thing – twins! Traditionally used during maple sugaring to collect sap directly from tapped trees, these rustic buckets are constructed from vertical wooden staves secured with metal bands. Each retains its simple wire handle, with years of working use evident throughout the surfaces. Perfect for this time of year either displayed empty or used to hold pumpkins, dried botanicals and seasonal décor.
