A time honored French affair. Years ago at the Paris Flea Market, I found a beautiful hand painted study on a fine linen canvas for an Aubusson tapestry. It was rendered in such a rich color palette. When I found this oval painting, it had the same qualities as the one I found years ago in Paris. This study is rich in greens and golden hues, and copper nails adhere it to an oval wooden stretcher frame. A rare find.
