It had me at the color! I found this incredible basket at Brimfield. I spotted it peeking out from under an old wood table and it was its fabulous French Blue painted surface I instantly fell in love with! This authentic 19th c. wooden splint basket is the real deal. Thick wood runners on the base lifts it off the ground, and a pair of open handles make it easy to carry. It’s quite hardy, and is perfect for storing throws, firewood, magazines, etc. As well as the crowning touch to the top of a cabinet.
