An Antique Stamp Collector’s Splint Basket

One of a kind. I’m a lover of splint baskets. So when I found this little beauty, I knew it was unique…and quite personal to the person that had owned it once upon a time. The splint’s hue is wonderfully mellowed and highlighted with a hand painted Paprika Red rim and handle. Wonderful antique stamps are affixed to the rim and handle – I can only guess that this collection of stamps may have covered most of the rim and handle…once upon a time.
