I spotted her at Brimfield, and knew I had to have her! Same goes for the frame that I won at auction! She’s a sepia photograph that I married to an early 20th c. hand carved wooden French frame. The coloration of the old photograph works just so perfectly with the wonderful old frame. The frame’s carving is covered with gesso, and is nice and chippy. An interior wood liner has a putty colored paint that’s still evident. Old glass is added for a beautiful finishing touch.
