A most unique find. The artist that made this piece is always at Brimfield (sadly, I don’t know her name.) She takes antique engravings and enlarges them onto rag paper and then hand colors them. I’ve always been an admirer of her work. So when I spotted this most unusual piece of art, as a gardener, and lover of old gardening tools, I knew I had to have it! This group of early garden cloche illustrations are so whimsical and graphic. The color palette she has chosen is so appropriate and yet contemporary. She has framed the cloches simply under glass with a narrow black stained frame. It is wired and ready to hang. Love, love, love this piece!
