19th c. New England Sap Bucket/Small
Lookin’ good all seasons. I love this little old painted wooden sap bucket. The scale, color, and humble presence all work so beautifully in my country house, especially this wonderful old red painted one. This bucket has a lot of wear, and is wobbly, but I have used it as a container for holding potted plants (just slip in a plastic liner), and added a plastic container filled with water for cut flowers. This little worn sweetie would also be a great piece to hold all your wooden spoons by the stove. Very versatile!
