Created by artist Brian Laurich, who’s work I’ve admired and collected over the years, this reproduction is taken from an actual Connecticut tavern sign dating from 1797 and painted onto the end of an 18thc. blanket chest with traces of the original green paint still present. Balusters are hand cut from 18thc. board.
