Create a big effect.  Setting up my hutch in the Dining Room of our new Country House was a little challenging, because I’m still working on the overall look for the room. But, in the meantime, when in doubt, go with white – white serve ware, that is. Much of what was already stacked and housed in my kitchen’s pantry came to the rescue!

Large platters were placed first and staggered as to not line up perfectly with the pieces on the shelf above or below. Then I layered in the more dimensional pieces like pitchers, footed bowls, and stacked dessert plates.  I finished it off with touches of white that I had on hand, like a chunk of coral and a sea star.
