Plant Zinnias. One of the best plants I put into my kitchen garden every summer.

I start out by buying and planting 1 tray of zinnias. Then, inevitably when I see how beautifully they’re taking off and blooming, I go back to the nursery for more! They’re a great filler for those “what to plant there?” spots. Not to mention, the more I cut, the more they grow. I love having a bunch of bright, cheery, colorful blooms at my fingertips to snip for impromptu little arrangements.
