I love creating and setting a “happy” table. One of my favorite short cuts to achieve this look, is to use sunflowers. In keeping with their casual good looks, I never use anything too fussy as a container. My stash of old Ball jars from the barn, lend themselves perfectly for displaying these lighthearted, cheerful beauties. Just cut the stems down so that the flower head is just above the mouth of the jar, add some water, then pop one, two or three into each jar. Lineup the containers down the center of the table and spread the sunflower love!
