Merry Christmas dear friends!

Where did the last 6 months go?! After 18 years, we left our beloved Connecticut country house in Newtown, and started a new chapter at our now beloved Connecticut country house in Hadlyme. We’re calling it ‘River House’. Actually our friends were calling it that way before we were!

Our 1820 Samuel Brooks Connecticut Country House is right by the fabulous Connecticut River. The beautiful historic house itself, the amazing location, our wonderfully welcoming new friends, and the breathtaking sunsets on the river, have helped so much in kicking off our new chapter. We just love it here and feel so blessed!

I’m looking forward to sharing with you our beginning here. So to be continued…

From our country house to yours, Merry Christmas!

Love, Nora xo

Merry Christmas, dear Nora. And to your husband and son. Your joy in, and gratitude for, your new home is so contagious. You certainly have a gem ! And thank you so much for the bright light during this year of so much uncertainty. And, for me, losing my wonderful husband, sadness.

Hello, as this is later, I was wondering if you are going to be blowing again soon. The only thing I’ve been seeing is the Hunt Club sells and really miss the blogs. I know you moved but when does the blogging start. Thank you

My husband and I bid on that house prior to our wedding in 1991. Sadly we were outbid. I was just down there by the ferry this morning. Our almost- house looks wonderful. Another Nora. 😁
