Somewhere In The Amazon Basket Nest

One day I wandered into a bead shop here in Connecticut, and not really being into beads I looked around to see if there was anything that may be of interest. There they were, an unusual set of nesting baskets tucked under a shelf that was stocked full of more beads. It was love at first sight! According to the shop owner, who was also a world traveler (where she finds her beautiful assortment of beads), she had bought this nest of primitive baskets from a tribe in the Amazon. Wow. Now I had to have them! They’re so sculptural, that they work in any country or modern interior. Truly a one of a kind conversation starter!
