To have and to hold. I found this fantastic antique basket at Brimfield this year! Everything about it is so good and authentic: Generous scale, hand painted Forest Green inside and out, hinged top, wood latches, raised compartment in one side of interior. The dealer told me that it was from Nova Scotia. I think it’s perfect to be put to use as a sewing basket!
