I am a tartan lover. So when I discovered tartanware years ago, you can just imagine how elated I was! Tartanware is the name given to wood objects covered in tartan papers and sold as Scottish souvenirs. Scotland has always drawn tourists because of the natural beauty of the area. This sweet egg is covered in McBeth tartan paper with its tiny name decoupaged on the front. I love how beautifully the mitered tartan papers are pieced together on the wooden egg form. Love.
