English Strawberries 1827

Antique garden charm. I love mixing wonderful antique prints into my country house decor. Art, like this English Strawberries 1827, adds so much personality and warmth to a space. I love the “collected” feel of it. The strawberries are so beautifully and realistically rendered against an understated line drawing depicting its leaves. A ‘4’ is found in the upper right corner, and ‘Mr. Withers, Pub by I Ridgeway 169 Piccadilly Nov. 1. 1827, I. Watts’ is found at the bottom, right inside the plate mark. Matting and frame is quite old…and wonderful. Love.
