Creamware Pumpkin Footed Bowl

So unique! I spotted this little honey at my local Connecticut Antique Center. It was nestled in with many kinds of interesting vintage containers, but this one was different – one that I had never seen before. To me, it looks like a little Boo pumpkin created in a ceramic form and on a ceramic footed base that looks like wood. I love the possibilities of this sweet piece: pot up a single bulb in it (as pictured), or add scoops of dip, relish, and chutneys for a cheeseboard, or just let it be a little work of mid-century art! Love, love, love.
