I’m an antique engravings lover. A sturdy old flat file of mine is filled with wonderful prints that await framing one of these days! The day finally came for my beloved French eighteenth century Martinet birds to be framed. To frame 20+ prints, I needed a sensible, cost effective solution. Unfinished gallery frames from Jerry’s Artarama (http://www.jerrysartarama.com/ambiance-unfinished-wood-gallery-frames) were the perfect answer.  The modern, clean square stock profiled frames and a can of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint (Pure White) really showed off the beauty of each and every hand colored bird.
