Springtime tulips and hyacinths are a natural go-to for Easter decorating and gift giving. By simply taking market or nursery purchased plants, removing them from the confines of their plastic, foil shrouded pots and placing them into clay pots, the results are a pretty, easy and inexpensive way to elevate the look of these seasonal favorites. As if it couldn’t get any better, as a bonus, when the flowers fade, these bulbs can be planted into your perennial beds to be enjoyed year after year.

Happy gift giving!

Love, Nora

    Beautiful!
Where do we find these fancy clay pots?
    Happy Easter!

I am smitten with the rustic/casual style you’re using Nora. I know you have talked about that table but I have forgotten. Is it something you stumbled upon? Or did you have it custom made?
What wouldn’t look perfect in those pots? I really prefer this look to cut tulips in a vase. You’ve got a real earthy vibe going on. Plus you seemed to have an endless supply sources – any chance you will be including a list of those in your book? Happy Easter!

      Hi Victoria!

Thank you! I really do just work off the vibe of my country house, and it all seems to work out! 🙂
The dining table is a 19th c. French worktable. I found it on 1stdibs.com. It comes from Jayson Home in Chicago. I was looking for a bigger table for some time, and pretty much gave up until I spied this on 1st dibs. It’s almost 10′ long and we can squeeze in 12!
I will certainly include a Resource Guide in my upcoming book! Thanks very much Victoria! Happy Easter to you & your dear family!
