March was a whirlwind month and April is scheduled to be just as crazy wonderful!

Project Refresh will continue as we tackle the 2nd floor of Connecticut Country House. A fresh coat of paint all-around: in Conor’s Man Cave, the guest bedrooms, bath, hallway and stairwell. With only two closets in our 1767 home, upstairs has kind of turned into a bit of catchall area since Conor left for college. Looking forward to getting that area super organized and back to being pretty. Can’t wait to share the results!

On Friday, April 7th at 3:00 pm, WFSB-3’s Better Connecticut will air a segment featuring a lovely woodland inspired table set for spring at Connecticut Country House. If you don’t get this station, no worries…..we’ll be posting the segment on the blog the following day!

April 21st I’m thrilled to be presenting at The Country Living Fair in Nashville. It’s spring, the perfect time to lighten up and pare down, so I thought what better time to share the inside scoop and photos from Connecticut Country House’s Project Refresh! If you’re in the area, please stop by and say hello.

From Nashville, on April 23rd & 24th, I’ll be on the High Point Market Design Bloggers Tour down in North Carolina. It’s an honor to be chosen as one of 10 bloggers selected by Esteem Media and the High Point Authority.

At the end of the month, one of my dearest cousins from Hungary is coming to stay with us for two weeks. A gifted artist and fellow antiques lover, I purposely timed her visit so that we can hit Brimfield together next month! She will lose her mind!

And . . .don’t forget to click here, to download your FREE Nora Murphy Country House desktop calendar for this month, or go to our Goodies tab.

Happy April dear friends!

Love, Nora
