Scot Haney of WFSB’s Better Connecticut came by Connecticut Country House and we had a great time hanging out in the kitchen creating two types of nature inspired floral spring baskets.

Rustic grapevine baskets from Terrain were fitted with liners and planted with diminutive violas and petite grape hyacinths. Adorned with our FREE downloadable watercolor inspired labels, featuring birds and nests, and sweetly embellished with creative candy from Castle Hill Chocolate, these make terrific table centerpieces or very welcome hostess gifts.

Potted with either pansies or violas, popped out from ordinary garden center 6-packs, little nest baskets from Shakespeare’s Garden, make charming additions to a springtime table, as well as for gifts for the little budding country gardeners in your life.

Happy Spring!

Love, Nora
