Grouping items together that share a similar theme is a simple way to create an impactful display.

In The Coop, our master bedroom, using a classic whale motif, I’ve paired and placed a weather-beaten wood sculpture, over an early 19th century engraving. The whale theme, combined with the muted gray color of the sculpture and the rough, weathered wood frame of the artwork, is the common thread that ties the vignette together beautifully.

Happy decorating!

Love, Nora

I love the framed whales. The weathered frame is beautiful with the print.

Thanks Karen! I’m having a love affair with grayed weathered wood throughout the house! Love, Nora

I agree! There’s power in numbers! Collections of things are best when displayed as a group.
